The Accenturist

How do call this module? The Accenturist What does it do? Because I have a bunch of little percussion modules that have no accent feature, I made a mixer for them that does, The Accenturist. This is again an idea that came from looking at the CR8000 circuitry. The Accenturist is a fairly straightforward 6 input, 1 output mixer that uses a VCA (that2181c because I had a bunch of these) and an internal little envelope circuit to accentuate notes. It can take any old positive going trigger signal (thus far anyway, surprise me) to get the envelope going and it will give you a bump in your audio. the amount of bump can be set with a little attenuverter and because it is an attenuverter, you can also make that bump a little dip. This dip isn’t always very audible on percussive notes though, on an oscillator it is good. the input can also be switched from trigger in to CV in mode, in which case it will stick the input into a buffer, and ignore the envelope. VATclap (Bitchclap)

How do call this module? VATclap (Bitchclap) What does it do? This is a half clone of the Boss dr-110 handclap circuit. Some ICs are simply unavailable in SMT so I had to take some different approach to the noise generator. The ATmega is there to supply the noise, as well as the trigger sequence or “crackle”. The noise from the ATmega sounds much smoother than the original dr-110 noise, which is kind of loopy. Never mind that, it is the overall result that matters right? The ATmega seems overkill, but it is the most obvious choice if you ask me. I looked into ATtiny in SMT, but that would require In System Programming which not everyone can do easily, I know I don’t like it much this far as I haven’t had any good results yet. An ATtiny with ISP header would take up about as much space on the PCB as an ATmega and an ATmega is much more doable for most so I decided to go with that. Bunch-a-Klix

How do call this module? Bunch a Klix What does it do? Bunch-a-Klix was made to provide the Patternizer line with arbitrary clock signals, which help it make up the most interesting patterns. Bunch-a-Klix has 4 regular clocks, with rate control and an indicator LED. Furthermore it has 4 “logic”outputs, providing clock signals that have a relation to the internally generated arbitrary clocks and the clock or pattern entered into its’ clock input (top of the module). In other words, it provides arbitrary and logically related clock signals, or klik signals How much does it cost? Quad Patternizer

How do call this module? Quad Patternizer What does it do? 4 channel- 4 stage clock divider How does it work? The Patternizer takes an incoming clock and divides it by either/and 2, 4, 8 or 16. These divisions can be switched on and off manually, or by external signals. The pulsewidth of the output signal is equal to that of the input signal.  Also works as a four stage programmable sub-oscillator. The Quad Patternizer Deluxe has 4 channels of patternization and has these nice large pushbuttons that make it a nice to “play” sequencer module. How much does it cost? R1Gslew

How do you call this module? R1Gslew What does it do? R1Gslew is a slew limiter that can be activated by the relevant pushbutton or by external gate/trigger signals in two diferent modes: Gated of Flipflopped (clocked). I gated mode the slew limiter will be active for the duration of the gate signal presetnt at the EXT input. In FF mode it will activate or deactivate the slew limiter on reception of a signal at the EXT input. A potentiometer will set the rate of the slew.
